Excellent for DIY projects! I bought these tubes to hold my homemade deodorant. The more common flat, oval shaped container I was using leaked terribly if my mixture wasn't set up enough before pouring. But then I'd end up spooning it in, making a big mess. These round tubes have a solid surface bottom and fit snugly so no more leaking, even if I pour in my mixture while still warm & liquid! They turn easily without me having to help it downward by pressing a finger on the contents to ease it back down into the tube for storage. They're also the perfect size for my recipe! I didn't really need 6 of them but now I have plenty of extras if needed.
