PEG’s have gotten some bad press in the past. Some of the contaminates of PEG’s are manufacturing byproducts called Ethylene Oxide and 1,4-Dioxane. Both are VERY bad but are present in inferior quality product or technical grade product. With the more expensive Dow Carbowax SENTRY products there are absolutely none of these chemicals present and each batch is tested for it.
