Regarding the comments on how it smells like weed... It does but only BEFORE it dries. After it dries it has a good masculine spicy scent. Kinda old timey but creates a good base layer for other scents. It doesn't last all that long scent wise from what I found unless someone is right up on your neck. Has a good sting which I like (tells me it's doing it's job). This pairs very well with masculine oils,colognes. etc. I use it with a moisturizer and soap that I scent with some tobacco essential oil and occasionally some cologne of I'm going out. Ads a bit of a masculine note to Gucci guilty, or givenchy play. So don't let the more negative reviews deter you, even as a younger man I still find it to be a great aftershave.This was a Christmas present to my husband...he loves Clubman anyway, so the vanilla scent was new to him. He really liked it!All is super great.I ordered this simply because the reviews were rather good for this product. I actually ordered 4 different scents just for something new other than my proraso. This smells great! I don't have the fond memories of going to the barber shop and this bringing back memories like some others have. But I can absolutely get the feeling of this being a classic barbershop smell. It is not over powering, but does have a very slight hint of vanilla and other scents. It does smell very manly, the test will be what the wife thinks about it when she gets home. Will buy again for sure especially at the price point.Best Clubman so far....Well, maybe aside from the original. I shied away from the Classic Vanilla because I thought it would be too sweet. But I finally decided to try it and it's my new favorite; replacing Whisky Woods for my evening aftershave (at least for the season.) It goes on very similar to the original and mellows to a musky, masculine scent that has the most staying power of any I've tried. Not quite a cologne, but close.I like cheesy cologne/aftershave as much as the next 35 year old, but out of all of the Pinaud aftershaves I've tried thus far (the original, special reserve) this is by far the least offensive, and I really like the scent. It smells like what your great uncle wore in 1987. It'll likely still repel women, though.My barber uses this aftershave when he cuts my hair, my wife always loves how I smell when I come home from a fresh haircut. I decided to finally ask him what he uses, and buy some myself. I've been using this for a few weeks now, and I love it. It has a great fragrance, it's prominent, but not too strong (depending on how much you use, obviously. I have no need for cologne anymore, as this does the trick. Would definitely recommend.This is one of the strongest, long lasting Clubman fragrances. The scent is not exactly vanilla to me; has more fruity tones.This stuff is just awful!!!!! Threw it out! Price says it all. Don't waste your money!!!!!
