The pump on this soap dispensor is very sturdy. My powder room gets a lot of use, and over the last couple years, I have gone through multiple soap bottles. The junky cheap plastic pumps keep breaking. So I was looking for one that is strong and has good pumping action. So far, this one is great. Easy to pump, enough comes out on the first squirt, and as a bonus, this bottle holds a LOT of soap. I got the gray, and it goes perfectly with my beige and gray color scheme. Very pretty, and more importantly, seems to be vrry well made
